Notifications have stopped coming through on my charge 2. I have a Samsung Galaxy A8 phone and all was good then about a month ago the app stopped syncing properly. I have checked all settings and even reset my phone but still nothing comes through. Was wondering if its a Fitbit or android problem? Any one else having the same problem?

When you say you have checked the settings, does that include on the fitbit as well as on your phone?
A common cause of this is where the Charge 2 is accidentally put into "do not disturb" mode. This is turned on / off by pressing and holding the button on the Charge 2. Could this be the problem here?

Good luck. After three months, my notifications abruptly stopped working. I reached out to Fitbit after trying everything in troubleshooting plus more multiple times. At best all they can tell me is basically oh well. It's sad. Such a waste of money.

Welcome to the Forums @NicS0103 and @tratijare123. Hello @SteveH.
@SteveH Thanks for being around to help. @NicS0103 and @tratijare123, thanks for sharing everything that you have tried and that the situation has continued.
@NicS0103 In your case I could see that it is happening because your phone is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps help for the notifications.
@tratijare123 In your case, please do try to follow the same steps that I have shared. While you have already tried some of those steps mentioned in there, please try going through all of them in the order that they show up.
Please let me know if there are any other questions and keep me posted on how it goes.

Good idea. I am going to look into the Samsung watch as well. Disappointed I wasted money for it to stop doing half of what it is supposed to do after a few months. It is very crucial for me to get my notifications with my hectic lifestyle and my own basketball team of kids.

Again, very sad excuse for Fitbit. My notifications worked for three months, now they are not. I will not upgrade my phone every three months to ensure my worthless watch works correctly.

I have followed all the steps even going as far as a factory reset on the phone but it does not work

Hello @NicS0103 and @tratijare123.
Thanks for sharing your feedback on the matter and for going through all of the steps that have been recommended.
@NicS0103 In your situation it could have happened because an update on the phone itself or the app caused further optimization issues which could explain why the notification stopped working.
@tratijare123 Our support team will be getting in touch with you about this situation via email. They will be more than happy to help you. Be sure to keep an eye on your email's inbox, spam and trash folders for their mail.
Let me know if you have any other questions on the matter.

Thank you. Would have been nice to be informed when I reached out to customer support and was basically told to get a new phone. It was a watch update. I had to do a factory reset on my watch, delete all traces of my watch from phone to figure that out. Fitbit customer service is horrible. Yikes.
