FINALLY (after how many weeks?) got my text, call and (I assume) email notifications to work again. I followed the instructions on force stop and uninstalling the app. Reinstalled. Paired my Blaze to the phone. (This took SEVERAL attempts as the app couldn't seem to find it.) I had to allow automatic location (hadn't been activated previously) and allow the Blaze to have access to my phone, contacts and well. . . everything. I don't remember granting permission before. I hate it when apps decide they need access to EVERYTHING (even things that have NOTHING to do with the app's function). The band is breaking on my Blaze so I'll need to replace it soon. I am so DONE with FitBit. I'm researching two other options for replacing my tracker.

Hi @ShanR moved this to the Android area of the forum. You might want to look at this first post, which explains the location requirement - click to read - as it's not Fitbit requiring it, but Google. I got tnew new app 3.7 yesterday. Did you?
