Nutrition info not displaying correctly

Within the last few days I have noticed that the nutrition information of foods is displaying incorrectly and is cutting off the top lines of the information.

I am using the most recent version of the app (4.48.fitbit-mobile) on my pixel 7 pro.

I have attempted all the usual suggested actions such as clearing the cache and storage and uninstalling then reinstalling the app but nothing resolved my issue.

Any help would be appreciated as my primary use of this app is to track my caloric intake and macronutrients.

Thanks

@Mjpaintrain By my math, it will not be two months until September 25 that this Topic has been open. Not saying you haven't experienced it longer.

Again, what seems to help resolving this issue is posting your Android OS version, device type and/or display size. If you aren't comfortable with that, you could open a case with Support and tell them the same.

I just uninstalled the Fitbit app and reinstalled it. Same display, the nutrients aren't showing.  The 4.50 version was installed. This is the first time I have posted in the community or had an issue with my Fitbit Versa 4. Is it typical to have such a slow response to a software fix? If it goes on much longer, I will have to look at other apps/trackers.  Sad!

I have posted to this thread but have been watching and waiting for my appstore to show the 4.51 update so that I can uninstall and reinstall and it just keeps showing the update from (I think) last month and the 4.5 version. How long until it is pushed out for everyone? I am on an S23 Android version 15 and have a Sense 2. It almost seems like when I got this new watch in the summer is when this started being an issue for me, which is unfortunate. Every day I have to restart my phone to get it and my watch to sync and update my calories burned and sometimes cardio minutes and sleep.

@MarioSFitbit @JuanFitbit , seems like lots of folks still struggling with this problem. I am grateful that my problem was solved with the 4.51 version,  so thanks for that.

@Jmpless A question on your post.  Is the app version 4.50 the old or new which was installed on your device?  This initial fix delivered is in version 4.51.

@Jmpless Okay. The fix for the issue we are discussing in this Topic, Nutrition Information not displaying correctly, is initially included in Fitbit app version 4.51 .

Please validate if you have v4.51 on your device.  If not, the new app rollouts via the Play Store utilize a staged rollout.  The new version is not available everywhere at the time it is released.  It will gradually become available everywhere, but I am not sure who knows the schedule.  Based on other topics I have seen here in the Community, I *think* it is some combination of country and region in the country.

If you do not yet have v4.51, I would visit the Play Store on a daily basis and validate if v4.51 is available to you.  Or, if this issue suddenly appears resolved on your device, please validate if the version is now 4.51 .

@Kierr Please see my post here, with my thoughts on when the v4.51 app will be available to you:

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Nutrition-info-not-displaying-correctly/m-p/5781653/high...

This topic we are posting in is focused on the Nutrition Information not displaying correctly, and that appears to be resolved with Fitbit app v4.51.  Each release can include multiple fixes, so v4.51 may resolve your sync issue.  If it does not, please search the current Topics and see if one matches the symptoms you are experiencing.  If there are none, please Start a topic about your sync issue.  Feel free to mention me in the existing or new Topic, or Message me a Permalink to it, and I will validate if I am experiencing the sync issue and help with that/your Topic as much as I can.

The issues I have experienced since joining the Fitbit Community, have been resolved once they are well defined so Support can recreate or fully understand them.

My husband and I are in the same household, same area code on our phones, but different exchanges.. He received the update 2 days ago, I don't. And it's not available to me in the Play Store.

@Safyre So now I'll *think* a function of country, region and phone exchange.  It is likely some random hashing algorithm which distributes it over the largest area possible, to not be biased towards any specific user, device or OS version.

The gradual rollout helps limit releasing an undiscovered, during the vendor's testing, defect from potentially impacting the entire user population.  If a large percentage of the gradual increased population begins reporting issues, the vendor can suspend the rollout until they determine what is going wrong.

Non-technical stuff for all:  I do not think Google is trying to isolate Fitbit users.  No company wants to reduce their consumer base.  These issues we discover are merely complex due to the variety of consumers needs and varied devices.  In my experience, this has been a relatively quick fix for as pervasive an issue as it is.  However, I believe that happened as our Community provided the type of information they needed to resolve the issue.

I opened a case in July, no responses. If they have an update why arent they pushing it to users who actually use this and have complained about it first.

I do not know with what granularity the developer can control how and when a new version is made available to a specific user or device in the Play Store.  I have encountered the process enough to think the reasoning behind it is as per my earlier post to Safyre.  One could likely review the Play Store Documentation and determine how it truly operates.

Edit:  You could also reach out to Support with your Case number and ask if they have an ETA for v4.51 to be available for your device.
