Hi there @sribhargav, welcome aboard to our Community. Note that your tracker will sync with your mobile app and not through your Bluetooth setting so don't worry if your mobile devices is detecting your wife's Alta. As long is not pair to your account it wont interfere with your Charge HR.
Make sure your device is in our list of Supported Devices. If is not in our list, it does not mean is not compatible, but is just we cannot guarantee it will work flawlessly with your mobile. So my first recommendation is to follow these instructions: Syncing troubleshoot for Android app.
