I have a Charge 6 and Iphone and within the past few days my laps/pace on my exercise details page has gone crazy. I walked tonight, 2.23 Miles at average 19' pace. The detail at the bottom says Lap 1 - 11'41"/mi = 3.63 miles. I know my laps are set at 1.0 mi. I have gone back and earlier exercises that had lap1, lap 2, etc... now have similar one lap with ludicrous distances and no individual laps. This makes me nuts, as a runner I want to know what my lap times are for training and improvement.
Anyone that can help would make me very happy.

Same problem. I loved the layout but some stupid Tech Bro screwed it all up. PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS. also every time I sync my App freezes and I I have to close and restart the app. Really Angry. I love my Fitbit because of its simplicity. Stop screwing with it !!!!’ 😡😡😡

Mine is doing the same thing! Frustrating!
Also the swim tracker is not working. I swim an hour a day which is 2 miles and 400 calories. The distance is not working and my calories are calculated at under 50. My past history is all messed up as well.
Questioning replacing this watch if they don’t come up with a fix. Maybe an Apple Watch!

Same problem. Fitbit shows the average pace for my run tonight as 13.52 /mi (don't judge, I'm old)... but my lap paces range from 8.20' to 10.10". Last time I ran a sub-9/mile was probably 50 years ago. what gives Fitbit? I used to really love your accuracy. (Fitbit luxe and iphone ios 17.7)

I also have the same issue. All laps show as just one lap vs lap time per mile. Just recently happened and no way to change it back.

Where is an update? Being this software issue appears to be a broad problem, there should be updates more frequent with timeline for fixing the bug. The lap pace is one of the key pieces of data any runner or walker needs.

I was online with a tech rep and asked the question what kind of timeline we could expect for the bug fix. He told me that he did not foresee it in an immediate release and thought that it would be a month minimum and maybe more - he was very hesitant to put any kind of timeline on it. I explained that I have an upcoming marathon the 2nd week of October and really need to have this addressed by then or I will need to look for an alternate solution. He did not seem confident that it would be addressed by then. I have been thinking about switching over to Garmin for a while. This might be the forcing function in the next couple weeks.

My laps and pace are wrong too. Lap is showing as1.61mi instead of 1 mi. My historical data is all wrong too.

1.61 kilometers - 1 mile. Try changing the units to metric and then change back. They seem to be mixed up.

Thank you, MAGNETIX, for the suggestion. I have tried that and nothing seems to change that original problem with the laps and pace being wrong in the app. Many other Fitbit users that I've talked to are having this same problem. When I run, the lap pace shows up correctly on my Fitbit Sense, but the app is all messed up.

Hello all
There's an update for the Android Fitbit app, ver 4.26.1, that started rolling out today, 25 Sep 2024. I got the update this morning. A few users reported that the iOS Fitbit app update started rolling out yesterday (24 Sep 2024) Although I haven't seen confirmation, I'm hoping that this update fixes the pace/lap issue that you've been experiencing.
The app updates tend to rollout in waves. If you don't see the update right away, keep checking.

I have the same problem; no solution; the "average pace" at the top is correct but the Pace section at the bottom is inaccurate and no longer has the splits. The main feature I wanted which worked well for years and has now disappeared. Very disappointed.

What’s the eta? I haven’t ran since June and the first time I do the splits are missing. Not a good impression.

It’s driving me crazy too!! I’m so sad that Fitbit has been ruined by Google. I’ve always loved Fitbit but I guess it’s time to switch. I downloaded the Strava app and so far I’m loving it. Will probably upgrade to a Garmin or Apple Watch when I can afford it. Too many problems with Fitbit lately. 😢

Having same issue with a charge 6 and iPhone. . How bad are the google engineers? Ever since they bought Fitbit the product has become buggy and less user friendly. Fitbit was great, met all of my fitness needs and worked well. Google breaks features that didn’t need fixing in the first place.
