Hello everyone

Having issues with my fitbit Alta HR

I changed my phone and got a samsung A40. Since that my fitbit wouldn't synchronize anymore. My phone bluetooth didn't recognize the fitbit at all. But recently I tried again. And maybe thanks to an update, my phone bluetooth pick up the fitbit but I unpaired the device with my account when I got the phone as it was recommended. 

So now the situation is : my phone bluetooth see the fitbit. When I start the pairing, the app recognize the fitbit and send the code to the fitbit. But when I enter the code on the app, it comes back with an error message. I tried most of the things on the website. 

So if someone has an idea of what could be wrong please? Maybe not the app but the watch is broken?

the Fitbit app is not compatible with your phone. The list is update so always check to see compatible phones, but if you have checked it in the last 6 months no need to check it again as hasn't changed. I know I hear your pain, but its a fibit problem, looks like they want you to buy the latest greatest phone for it to work. Have been waiting months for them to support the A40 so looks like they cant make it happen or wont. A suggestion would be to buy a Garmin, should be some good deals in black Friday sales for some. Also bear in mind no Fibit product is supported on the A40 so don't go getting a charge 3 thinking it will work.

Hi !

Thank you for your answer. Managed to pair it with the computer of someone but yeah....

I get the whatsapp message from my phone so it is communicating, just not synchronizing the data....

My fitbit is only 1 year and a half old so it is very annoying. But I will look into the Garmin one.

i have the same problem with my charger 2 .   By the sounds of the other topics  on this site 

Fitbit is not compatible with samsung A40 phones .

Any advise !!!!!
