My phone and fit bit have suddenly stopped syncing together. Tried some of the trouble shooting suggestions but none seem to be working. My fitbit is still working and counting steps ect.

Mine is doing the same thing. I've deleted the app and tried all the other suggestions on the help article!

I'm having the same problem. Reinstalled the app, tried unlinking my fitbit and now can't link it back on as it doesn't display the code required. Fitbit still working and showing fully charged.

No it hasn't helped me. Unlinking my fitbit has made it worse as I need a code to link it and I'm not getting one.

Same here. Have updated the app and checked all settings but hasn't synchronised for 3 days.

Same problem but not synced since 6th April. Tried all suggestions now only option is to contact customer support What were you told to do ?

Please let us know how you got it to sync. I have an Alta and a Motorola g5.
It syncs intermittently. I have tried everything. I even tried to renstall the Fitbit but my phone could not find it. I turned my phone off and rebooted this did not help. I put my fit bit on charge and reset it by hitting the button on the usb 3 times. Still would not sync. Turned on another android device and it could not see the Fitbit. Alta Fitbit is still collecting data. It seems that there is common fault. I am running firmware 21.21.40.2 and latest version of app. HELP

Please let us know if it fails again. I think this is an intermittent problem and you will need to remember how to fix this.

Mine is the 6th of April too. I think I had a Samsung upgrade that day. It seems my Alta, but won't pair. I've tried everything.

I finally got it! Mine didn't sync to my Samsung note 8 since April 6th. I think there was a Samsung update that day. Since then I have tried everything they suggested on the help site - reinstalling, resetting, turning bluetooth on and off, un pairing the alta etc. I would try to add a device, it would see it, but it wouldn't pair with the bluetooth on the phone. Someone previously said to power off your phone! Duh! Didn't think of that! Just did it, and my Alta is baaaaack! Hope this helps!
