Please help. Just purchased a fitbit versa for my wife's birthday present but her straight talk galaxy S5 won't communicate with it. Any suggestions....

I have a straight talk samsung s5 as well and I could not get the phone and versa to sync. My phone was able to find the versa but not connect. I spoke with fitbit chat and I did everything he instructed me to do and no success. I had even contacted fitbit before purchasing the versa and was told it would work. I returned my versa. 😞
