Pixel Watch not earning floor badges

I've had my Pixel Watch for about two weeks and I'm really enjoying my first foray into using Fitbit.

In the Fitbit app I'm earning daily step lifetime mile badges. The Challenge badges for Vernal Falls as well.

I'm not earning any floor climbing badges even though I've surpassed the five floor setting every day.

I'm wondering if any other Pixel Watch users are experiencing this problem? Are watch users not able to earn climb badges or it a bug?

I've tried various tips I've read around the forums like logging out of the app, restarting the watch and phone, cycling Bluetooth, etc. and nothing has worked.

Tap on your profile picture in the Fitbit app, then your name tile to get to your profile.  Your earned badges are there.  If you don’t have any badges listed, then please contact Support for more help.

Yes, you earned flood badges

Hello @MomentsNotice and welcome to the Community.  The Fitbit daily floor badges aren’t for meeting your goal.  They’re for specific floors per day and the lowest is the Happy Hill at 10 floors.  Others include:

  • Redwood Forest for 25 in a day
  • Lighthouse for 50 in a day

Here’s the complete list from the Fitbit Blog

Appreciate the response LZeeW. I guess I worded my original post wrong. I've surpassed the criteria of 10 for Happy Hill, 25 for Redwood Forest, and 50 for Lighthouse and haven't unlocked any badges. November 21st was the day I registered and my daily floor counts since have been:

November 21 - 5

22 - 19

23 - 16

24 - 20

25 - 5

26 - 16

27 - 11

28 - 45

29 - 51

30 - 11

December 1 - 23

2 - 19

3 - 12

4 - 19

5 - 14

6 - 25

I haven't had a single daily badge unlock. A few of these day should have earned, yes? So I'm curious if this is happening to other Pixel Watch owners.

I have been facing the exact same issue past few weeks. Even though I have been crossing 10 and 25 floors on a daily basis. My earned badges are stuck at 10 floors at 207 times a d 25 floors at 99 times.

It's really weird and disheartening. Have tried logging out of the app and logging in but nothing works.

The other badges & trophies are working fine.

How to contact support ? Nothing seems to work. The floor badges are broken for the pixel watch !!

Best Answer

Here's the support page with the option for a live chat. The last email I received was about a month ago saying they were aware of the problem and working on identifying a solution.

Based on the problems I've read here going back years I'm resigned to the fact that Pixel watch users will continue missing a third of their daily best and lifetime data totals (and the associated badges) for the foreseeable future.

Ok, so after logging out & logging in my issue wasn't resolved. But after uninstalling the app, reinstalling & logging in, I could see the correct badge (10 floors & 25 floors earned XXX number of times had increased correctly).

The floor issue was fixed for the pixel watch, now there are similar issues with the personal best in weekend warrior & workweek hustle.

Not sure if it is related to Pixel Watch itself or the app ?

Either way, really frustrating !!!

I'm glad it worked for you!

Still nothing here. After reading your post I tried the same by logging out and uninstalling and reinstalling the app twice this morning.

No floor badges and the climb data is still absent from my profile as well. Bummer.

Oh so sad, it still didn't work for you. My workweek hustle badge synced correctly but weekend warrior is still pending to be updated.

Same thing is happening to me. I got a Google Pixel watch 8 months ago, and currently have zero climb badges (I have a bunch of other badges, just zero climb ones)... I just did the math looking at my logged activity on the fitbit site and it's recorded over 2200 floors and over 120 in a single day.

I just messaged support; hopefully they can sort it out 🙂

Support acknowledged something odd is going on and said they passed it over to the technical team to look at. It's like the achievement system is not calculating my climb/floors data.

Yup, my profile is exactly the same. It's missing the floor data entirely, and missing a lot of climb badges as a result.

I opened my ticket in December after posting here, and my last update was in January. I haven't heard anything else since.

Fingers are still crossed..

Response back from support just says it's a known issue and they are working on it.  Heers hoping it's fixed before the Pixel Watch 2.0 later this year.
