I'm sure 4.29 solved some problems, however it introduced a new problem. When in the food selection both the Recent and Frequent have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen. Same thing happens when you want to add calories to the top numeric entry field which is cutoff.
One has to wonder about all these updates but never getting very far.
43 days later I finally get this issued resolved for me. Never mind the myriad of previous problems and those that others are reportedly still exist. During this long wait there has been no comments from Google, even the Moderators have nothing meaningful to communicate. Google has lost my loyalty and respect for treating customers this way. I for one will not be renewing my Premium subscription. I got tired of waiting and I am using Cronometer. I regret buying the PW3 and my Pixel 9 XL Pro.

Is there any update on the progress with this ? It's been at least two weeks now and the problem is still unfixed

Downgrading the Fitbit app may not fix the issue if you're still using Android 15. Might be
better to roll back the Android update instead.

The new layout for weight is working but missing function from the old layout. Is this the new final layout or just a step to fix the issues?

"The information we get is mostly that the information we give are reported back to developer."
Not sure whether to say it's Orwellian or straight out of an Abbott and Costello routine. Either way it would be nice to get a true info update and for them to simply fix the problem without making other changes nobody asked for.

BMI is not a helpful measurement. Medical professionals have admitted it's hugely flawed. Bodyfat percentage is better.

I've basically resigned myself to the fact that all commercial software will be partially broken at all times.
If it won't affect profits in the upcoming quarter then the shareholders don't care and if they don't care neither does the company.
So honestly, I'm not expecting this issue to be fixed any time soon.

Hi Fitbit
No move, no news from your side, so I inform you that cancel my subscription to Fitbit.
Thanks

Any news on this? Can't add custom food that can't be found on the system either. Also have you thought about adding a scanner to take the nutritional values from the table on products or meals? Would be handy for meals that aren't on the system to quickly add them

I just switched from a Pixel 5 to a Google Pixel 9 pro fold and am experiencing the same issues with lists being cropped throughout the app.

I have lost > 5 years of weight loss with this latest update and I'm freaking out. Is there any way to get this information back? (I use it to see and compare patterns in my gains and losses.) I would have figured out a way to record it elsewhere if I knew this was going to happen.

Don't panic. The good news is the data is still there. You can export it using Google take out.
However I think it will be back in the Fitbit app if they ever fix the display problems

I read how to do the roll-back but it's a bit complicated for a Luddite
like me.
I won't update my Pixel tablet till this is fixed.

...so just wait for an update? My problem is missing weight history.
Surely Google could assure everyone it's being worked on and that their data isn't lost!

this is the only item I can add because it rarely changes for me. I'm absolutely gutted that it's been 3 weeks and no response. I run a software company and this would be considered an urgent request with an SLA of hours not weeks. Are the development team on a cruise or stuck on a island somewhere. Should we be organising a rescue team. Maybe a celebrity concert to raise awareness of their plight.

The same thing is happening with the latest update 4.30. How hard is it to fix this issue? Seems like an easy fix to me. Please surprise us all and correct this before Christmas.

I don't think it is actually in Fitbit's development queue. It is something that could AND SHOULD have been fixed immediately, especially when it affects Google's flagship devices. There was obviously no testing done on Pixel phones. Fitbit isn't listening to our complaints. Instead, they delete posts that offer actual help to navigate around the issue. The thread is marked as solved because they probably have some kind of quota to meet with speediness of solved threads and, instead of actually fixing the issue, they can just mark something as solved to not have something go longer than X amount of days.
