I'm sure 4.29 solved some problems, however it introduced a new problem. When in the food selection both the Recent and Frequent have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen. Same thing happens when you want to add calories to the top numeric entry field which is cutoff.
One has to wonder about all these updates but never getting very far.
43 days later I finally get this issued resolved for me. Never mind the myriad of previous problems and those that others are reportedly still exist. During this long wait there has been no comments from Google, even the Moderators have nothing meaningful to communicate. Google has lost my loyalty and respect for treating customers this way. I for one will not be renewing my Premium subscription. I got tired of waiting and I am using Cronometer. I regret buying the PW3 and my Pixel 9 XL Pro.

Same with me. Is there a way we can find out how long it takes for each state in USA to receive the updates ?

I'd also like to know when it's going to reach the UK.

Hi everybody ! Thank you for your messages and feedback.
Just jumped in to address the main question asked by the majority
The Fitbit app is being released in phases. These are independent from location. Meaning, 2 persons in the same household could get the update on different dates.
There is no ETA for a specific location.
Be assured that the app is going to be available for everybody in the next few days.
We ask you all for a bit of patience until the roll out is completed.

Yup, this is correct. If you search "Android app update release phases" there's some developer documentation detailing how devs choose a percentage of users to receive and update over time and Google randomly chooses who gets the update to make that percentage.

Which app? I'm interested as not wanting to be dragged around by Fitbit anymore

I'd also like to know this. I've signed up to Cronometer,

I've been using My Fitness Pal. It actually has more functionality in the nutrition area than Fitbit, and that's on the free version. The only thing you don't get on free version is barcode scanning.

I've noticed this too, even before I purchased my Pixel Watch. Makes it a pain verifying the food I'm entering. Somebody needs to fix this.

Happy to say this is -finally- fixed with Fitbit version 4.32 - it's not rolled out to every region yet but it shouldn't be long before you get it if you're still waiting.

App version 4.32 had been released to the Play Store and fixes the issue.
Please note that app updates are released on a staggered basis and not all users will receive it immediately, so please be patient and keep checking for an update.

Updated to Fitbit 4.32 this morning and everything is working now. Not sure why some people are still having a problem. I'm using a Pixel 8 with Android 15 installed.

The update has fixed food tracking for me but the weight data is still missing and forcing you to log in lbs instead of stones

Got pushed an "update" 3 hours ago but still on version 4.30

Means still dealing with overscan issues if not clear

Still no update for me here in the eastern US.
I finally used the weight logging inside the app today instead of the quick shortcut from the home screen (which still has the cutting off issue btw) and the new design is not great. They've removed the defaults when logging weight so it no longer remembers values from the previous entry, so if you're logging body fat you have to remember to enter that every time now even though this is not a value that changes often.
They also seem to have made BMI more prominent which is an extremely flawed metric. What terrible design choices.

I just got the new Fitbit update and while the format of some of the pages has changed, the cropping issue has finally been fixed for me.
I did pick up Cronometer and I do like what I'm seeing there so far. The importing into Fitbit wasn't working so well until I grabbed the new update and now that seems to be working too.
