Recently started using an Ionic again, I knew I would have issues as I have an Honor Play 🤪 Thankfully I'm pretty good at getting stuff to work with emui.... So far 😇

So I've put a little guide as to what settings I have changed to get my Fitbit to play nice.

First off reset the Bluetooth settings on the phone, be warned that this will wipe your WiFi connection settings as well as unpair any other Bluetooth devices. Go into settings and click on System, in there click on Reset.Go into settings and click on System, in there click on Reset.

In there choose Network Settings Reset and follow the instructions. In there choose Network Settings Reset and follow the instructions.

Uncheck the Power intensive prompt, next click on App Launch.Uncheck the Power intensive prompt, next click on App Launch.

Uncheck the Manage Automatically option and the other 3 options will enable themselves. Click OK and go back to the Apps screen.Uncheck the Manage Automatically option and the other 3 options will enable themselves. Click OK and go back to the Apps screen.

Uncheck the Bluetooth scanning option and go back out of settings.Uncheck the Bluetooth scanning option and go back out of settings.

After this is all done restart your phone and pair up your device. Hopefully this helps a few of you.

Hello @SunsetRunner.

Thank you for taking the time to share all of this information with everyone! I'm sure that there will definitely be people that find it useful!

I'd like to mention that this is not an official workaround and thus Fitbit cannot vouch for its effectiveness. If you do find it useful please post in here letting everyone know.

Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Thanks for this - it seems to be working so far on my Honor Play 🙂

Although it synced when I first got the phone, it hasn't synced for weeks (works fine on iPad).  After making these changes this morning it now syncs on my phone again!

I am waiting to see if the notifications are working, so will try and update once confirmed.

Thanks again for this.

Hmm.... So after a day of perfect use, notifications, data syncing etc all working, it stopped again.

I don't know if it's because I connected to other devices (speaker, car etc) but back to no Ionic connectivity.

I had this issue with my blaze and Motorola G then Motorola X Play. Moved to Ionic same issues with Moto X Play and now Honor Play.  Works flawlessly on ipad.

My sons pebble worked with Android phones with no issue at all, my android phones work with my car, speakers, headphones, but android and fitbit seems to be problematic 😒😕😟

Hello @Stu_B.

It could be that the connection to other devices caused interference between the Fitbit and your phone. Could you try to delete the connection between the phone and other devices and see if that helps your Fitbit sync and get notifications?

Let me know if there are any other questions.
