Hello,

 

 

Running Android the latest version of the Fitbit App on Android 9 Security patch August 1 2019 on Pixel XL hardware.  I've encountered a couple of  bugs in the messaging app:

 

1. I have several messages from a particular user.  Regardless which message I click on, I always see the exact same message.

 

2.  The notification telling me I have new messages isn't accurate.  It refers to 12 items however messages are far fewer.

 

 

Finally, I noticed messages don't seem to be threaded.  All I see are incoming messages from this particular user, one message for each reply.  I suspect this might be by design, but honestly, it's a really poor design choice.  That being said, I'm kinda hoping it's a bug.

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post about the Fitbit app in Android mobile devices. To better assist you with this, can you please let when was the first time you experienced this? Also, is your Pixel XL running the latest version of the Fitbit app? If you haven't already done so, please follow the next steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date (Android 10 is available for Google Pixel users).
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your credentials.
  7. Let me know if the issue persist.
