Hi:

I just got my fitbit Alta for Christmas and on the app when I try to log an activity it ask to put a specific activity even when I put it already.  Also it says date and time on the phone is incorrect.  Which is not.

I will appreciate the help because I don't want to get disappointed! Smiley Sad

Thanks

Its nice to have new faces in our Fitbit Community @annetteeliza. Make sure your timezone settings are properly configured to your local time.

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account Tab.
  2. Tap Advanced Settings.
  3. Find the option to modify your time zone or apply automatic timezone.
  4. Sync your tracker to apply changes.

About logging activities, make sure the activity you are typing is in the default list of exercises, otherwise it will be require to create a custom activity. To learn more about this please take a look at this post.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help.

Hi:

I remove and install again the app and when I try to log in it says
"Incorrect date or time on the phone". That can be impossible.

I'm getting frustrated. 😞

Hi @annetteeliza! Thanks for reaching back.

In this case I'd recommend that we try to reset the timezone setting. Access the time on the settings on the phone, then select a different timezone to yours. Finally, select the proper timezone once again. Now try to log the exercise again, it should do the trick.

Please let me know how it goes! Smiley Very Happy
