I have redmi note 5 pro phone, following message appears all the time even though I have followed all the suggestions that I have found.
"Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications of your tracker".
Please fix it... It's irrigating, I could not receive notifications.

Welcome to the Forums @Mounika_7
This might be happening because the RedMi Note 5 Pro is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps for the notifications.
In the meantime maybe you could post about it in our Feature Suggestions board. That way other users could vote or comment on your idea and let everyone know that there is a lot of users who would like to see that phone added. Be sure to read the FAQ to better understand what is going on.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello,
I received my Charge 3 a few hours ago and had the same problem. I fixed it by changing the battery saver option for the Fitbit App.
Go to "Settings" > "Installed Apps" > "Fitbit" > "Battery Saver" > change option from "Battery Saver" to "No restrictions".
I also gave the authorization to Fitbit to run at startup by activating the AutoStart option in "Settings" > "Installed Apps" > "Fitbit".
I now receive Call and SMS notifications.
I hope it will work for you too.
Matt

Thank you for this, it helped me. This post should be pinned to the top. It works on my Redmi Note , but I am sure it would work with many other phones as well.

I also tried this option but I am still getting the message "Notification service not running". Sometimes I get call notifications but I never get a text notification or any other notification.
I have Fitbit charge 3 device and my phone is Redmi note 5 pro.
