Re: Bluetooth Issue

I have also had syncing issues.  I have a Samsung 7 and the Ionic.  I haven't had problems until the last week, syncing has been off and on.  Today the last time it synced was around 1 p.m., and now it's stating it can't find device.  I've shut down my watch and restarted my phone.  I've even turned off the bluetooth and turned it on again, and it still won't find it.

My Versa was working great until I had to replace my phone. Now I'm not getting any notifications on my versa that was paired. I've done EVERYTHING to fix the problem but NOTHING works. This morning I tried again and now my Versa will not pair with my phone at all. I'm not a happy camper.

I love how people hijack threads and then expect answers.

@TSecor you say that the tracker will not pair, but have not said what type of error message.

@Rfeil and @Eljay411 check permissions, turn off notificstion services, turn back on, grant all permissions.

@Eljay411. sorry but saying you tried everything tells us nothing about what has been tried.

@Nikki63 if it is showing up as connected in Bluetooth. I would remove the tracker from the list of trusted devices. It should only be showing up as a trusted device, not as a connected device.

And it's the answers like this that I never come on here.

All it was saying is "device not found".  I've:

1. Disconnected from bluetooth, took out of Fitbit and put it back in.

2.  I've shut it down multiple times (from the fitbit directly)

3.  I've shut off my bluetooth and turned it off MULTIPLE TIMES

4.  I've shut down the phone multiple times.

Is this better.  Oh and it's still not working.

Have you tried clearing the Fitbit app cache?

Remove the tracker from the phones Bluetooth.

One off the above 2 steps fixes a lot of android sync issues.

Shut down the Fitbit app? This must be done through the phones sertings/apps/fitbit.

Swiping out of memory does not kill the Fitbit Bluetooth drivers.

Then after stopping the app, swipe the app out of memory.

I've tried everything except "Clearing the Fitbit App".  Not sure what you mean?
