I'm sorry. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 Android with Oreo and a Fitbit Blaze.

So are you referring to the desktop widgets that can be added to the phones desktop?

I had one or two Android versions of Oreo that told me that widgets where not allowed, but with later updates this option has been restored.

Yes, the widgets on my phone. I have always used widgets. The main one, showing number of steps, works.
