Readiness Scores Gone After App Update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Updated the app and now the readiness score tile is blank even for past days where I had a score. When I click on the tile it still says no score but when I go to week and month I can see scores. But if I click on the day I get the no score screen again. I also noticed that my readiness score on the week graph for this past Wednesday is less than half what it actually displayed on Wednesday 🤷‍:female_sign:

Yes, I've tried removing and re-adding the tile... Clearing the app cache... Signing out of the app... Deleting and reinstalling the app... And yes, I power cycled my phone and the watch each time. No joy 😕

Hello @blondnomore

The Daily Readiness score changed with the recent Fitbit app update. This page explains how the Daily Readiness score is calculated (<-- click link)

It seems like the algorithm may be taking some time before it starts calculating your Daily Readiness score and displaying it in the app. I've seen some users report that the app says it needs 7 days of data to calculate the readiness score, but then see the score before the 7th day.

My Charge 5 has been doing this for weeks now. All of my scores have been wiped out. I never take my Fitbit off so the wearing it for 7 days is incorrect. I cannot fund help or an answer anywhere.

I can’t even see the months or years and I’ve been a premium member since 22. They’ve all disappeared. The tile is there but no day no week no month also it keeps messing up my sleep score which is the main reason I have it. ever since the new update in September 2024🫤

Yes, I’m trying to be patient but I’ve been a member and war every night since 2022. I now have a charge six so I have a long history and it’s all wiped out months years day and it messes up my sleep log a lot too since the new update in September 24 very very frustrating. I was trying to be patient but when it messed up my sleep, I’m losing my patience

Same here I’m a premium member since it’s 2022. I had to charge five and now I charge six I keep them immaculate and charged. I’ve worn them every day and every night and had a long history and it’s all wiped out since the new update September 24, also it messes with my sleep, score 3 times messed with my sleep, which is why I’m a premium member 😩

Same here. I've uninstalled, reinstalled and rebooted my phone. Nothing is working.  I have the updated version of Fitbit and checked my phone version is correct. I cannot find help anywhere.

I waited a week after the update thinking the new algorithm needed a week's worth of data to start displaying the Daily Readiness Score.  It worked for one day  (8th day I think) but since then it has returned to a blank value.

I believe this is a bug and it needs to be fixed soon please.

Hello @KATWILL63 , @blondnomore , @Corree03

As best as I can tell, the readiness score is re-calculating and re-calibrating according to the new algorithm. It looks like until it finishes this process, the past scores aren't showing.

For what it's worth, I noticed that after my readiness score was re-calculated using the new algorithm and started showing up in the Fitbit app, I now see the recalculated score for past months instead of my previous readiness score.

Hopefully, it won't be too much longer before you start seeing your Daily Readiness score again as well as your historical scores.

Since the update my app is displaying low readiness (normally 1) and my watch is showing much higher. Today the app says 20 and the phone says 63. Crumbs google, for a tech company you really know how to bugger up tech.

should read 'watch says 63'

I reached out to Fitbit via the help chat about this issue last week and they said that they know about it and are working on it.

Thanks for the info.

So many issues they have to work on!

  • Readiness Score not loading
  • Steps not syncing properly between watch and app
  • Not counting steps after waking up/resting for long periods of time

It seems like every update only brings more issues without correcting any of the existing ones.

Indeed.  Even when the readiness score does "work" the values seem to be weird. The readiness score has displayed values twice this week, both in the mid 50s, but I exercised hard one day and rested the other so they should be very different. I hope this is just part of the glitch.

It's been almost 3 weeks and I still haven't gotten ANY readiness score.

The app notified me that it would be available, and added the tile, and it's been 7 days several times over, and nothing has changed.  It still just says "No score".

I'm not sure I even care about the readiness score, because I've never seen one. But it's annoying that it was pushed on me, and so far has done nothing.  I still can't even find a list of which devices are supposed to be capable of this.

The readiness score is still not working for me. I get a score maybe twice a week if I am lucky. It used to work every day before the update.

I’ve been on live chat with them for over a week. Just keep getting told they’ve only rolled it out to some members. It’s obviously not true as I’ve been wearing a fitbit for 10 years and have always seen my readiness score as a premium member. Think they’ve messed up but don’t want to say.

The past few weeks I have only had about 3 readiness scores. I loved the Fitbit when I bought it in April but now it seems like I paid over $400 for something that continually reduces in functionality.
