Hello,
I recieved a Charge 2, and (mostly) sucessfully synced it to my Galaxy S3 running 4.3, which looks to be a supported device.
When I recieve a call, the fitbit will notify me of both the call and who the caller is, but when I receive a text message the text will come through but the sender is just 'unknown'. I've tried with multiple contacts, and the correct names come through when they call, but 'unknown' for when they text.
I tried turning off and on bluetooth, my phone, and the fitbit in various combinations, but am unable to get texting contacts working. Any other hints of what I could try to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Audrey

Hi @AudreyCondon and welcome to the Community!
When you set up text notifications, which app are you using to receive text messages? Are you using the native messages app or are you using a 3rd party messages app?
I hope to hear from you soon!

Hi,
I'm using the native messages app, and don't have any other SMS messaging apps installed.
Thank you for helping,
Audrey

Hi @AudreyCondon. I'm sorry for the late reply. It sounds like you've tried everything to make it work. I'll forward this to our specialists for further review. In the meantime, I understand that all Fitbit features run on the latest tech, so please be sure to make sure your running the most up to date version of your OS and mobile device firmware.
I hope to have more information for you soon.

My galaxy s3 is running Android 4.3, and will not update further. When I click 'update' it says 'The device is up to date'.
