Reset failed data was not clear please try again

Hi, 

I couldn't swipe of my VERSA 2 clock face to get to my other screens. I tried resetting it and now it shows "reset failed data was not clear please try again" 

I have tried over and over to reset it and I get the same error message . I have also deleted my watch from my app and added it again as a new device which it let me do. Downloaded everything again for it to display the same message. 

 

Anyone have any suggestions how I can fix it?

Let me share with you that the error message that's shown on your Versa 2 display is because the firmware update process wasn't completed. Therefore, I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article. Thank you for the troubleshooting steps above. I have followed them and I still have the same error message. 

 

I checked that i have the latest version and i restarted my device twice. I also have unpaired it and reinstalled the watch twice to the app. 

 

My watch is still recording all the data as I can see it on the app.but I am unable to view it on the watch itself as I still have the error message of reset failed your data was not cleared please try again.

I am still having the same issue.

I have since updated the firmware as a new version was released over the last few days. This has made no difference. I have also refollowed the troubleshooting steps. 

 

Please can you anyone give me some further advice on what I can do?
