This message continues to pop up on my Samsung Galaxy 7. I have restarted my phone several times. I am running the latest version of the app Version 2.72.1. Any solution? Also whenever I try to edit a prerecorded workout, the app crashes.

Hello @Laura10, good to see you again in the Fitbit Community! Thanks for calling this issue out and my apologies for the late response.
The issue you are describing is already under investigation, there are several users experiencing this error and our teams are working hard to find the solution. For more updates or questions regarding this topic I suggest to refer to this post: "Notification service not running" error.
You mentioned that your app is crashing, I'm wondering if the crash is triggered by an specific action in your app. Does this issue started happening with the version 2.72.1? How often is affecting your app?
In the meantime I will suggest first to review your Google Play store. We started to roll out a new version of the Fitbit app. However these updates are gradually released until it is fully available to all our users. If is not there yet, review at a later time its availability in order to have the recent version. For more details review this post: Android app version 2.73 is now available - 6/11.
Let me know if the issue change with the new version.
