Samaung S9+ not syncing with Blaze

Have fitbit still not sorted out the syncing between a fitbit blaze and Samsung S9+?  I've seen previous topics from a few months ago on the subject but would have thought they'd have sorted it by now.

Very frustrating.

Welcome to the Forums @Kevin_17.

This might happening because the Galaxy S9+ is not currently a supported device. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with it as of yet and some issues like this might happen. Please do know that the team is definitely aware of the multiple requests to expand the list further.

It's important to note that as long as a phone fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it will work, but we cannot guarantee it. Some users with unsupported devices have mentioned that following these troubleshooting steps helps out, maybe you could give it a try.

Let me know if there are any other questions.

Thank you for replying. I have managed to sync my S9+ with my fitbit blaze
now, however it still doesn't allow for call or text notifications on the
watch.
Hopefully this will be rectified soon as it's frustrating.

Hello @Kevin_17. Welcome to the Forums @Mike_augie.

@Kevin_17 Thanks for letting me know that you managed to get it sync. The moment there are any updates in regards to the notifications or changes on the list, I'll be sure to post about it.

@Mike_augie What type of notifications where you getting? The Fitbit will get the notifications that you set up and not more than that. Maybe you had too many notifications turned on at the same time and that's why that was happening.

Feel free to reach out with any further questions.

Hello @Kevin_17.

I'm afraid I don't fully understand what you are saying. Are you referring an option to setup notifications?

If so, you can find the specific instructions on how to do it by clicking here

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi. Sorry if I'm being a complete idiot but I can't get text notifications
or call notifications.
I've followed the attached link.

Hello @Kevin_17.

Thanks for reaching back and following the steps on the link.

It might have been because the S9 was not part of the supported devices list, like I mentioned above. However, the S9 and S9+ should be added to the list shortly

I'd recommend that you now try going through the steps in this article as it should work in letting you get the notifications.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
