Samsung A50

I had a Samsung S8 (just broke) and it worked great with my versa. But I really like the A50 and its not pairing with my Fitbit. I know its not on the list of compatible phones yet,  but is there a chance it will be in the near future? Not sure which device I want more, A50 or my versa... would like to keep both but it's annoying that it won't pair.

I know there are reports of the A50 not working but...

How broke is your S8. If it's still around then, if you can, make sure it doesn't still have a connection to the fitbit in its bluetooth settings as this could be blocking connection to the A50.

In terms of when / if the A50 will added to the supported list then I'd be surprised if you get a clear answer to that - fitbit don't tend to announce their plans.

The screen on my S8 is barely functioning but I'm still using it at the
moment to sync my versa because it won't sync to the A50. Are you saying,
that even though the A50 is not compatible, it could still connect?

It's possible. If it's not on list of supported devices it can either mean that it's been tested and shown to not fully work, or it could just mean that it's not been tested. There don't seem to be enough posts about the A50 to tell which it is. The last two phones I've had have worked fine but neither has been on the supported list.

So, it's certainly worth trying but if you have problems then help will be limited as it's officially not supported.
