When will I be able to sync my zip with my new Samsung S10? I've heard it's not compatible yet...
Moderator edit: Updated subject for clarity
do u get all the call and text and other notifications on it?
Best AnswerJust a note: You're telling folks to sync with their computers, but the computer/laptop app does NOT support the Charge 3. It syncs with mobile devices only. I upgraded my phone to the Samsung S10, which doesn't work with the Charge 3. I have a MacBook Air that also won't work with it. And I have a now-pretty-useless Fitbit Charge 3 that won't even keep time correctly, since it gets its time from the phone.
Best AnswerThere's alot of us on a different thread still trying to get the Fitbit zip to download on the s9. Come on ....

@jreiter2019 wrote:Okay....on your phone - go to Google Play and turn off automatic updates for apps.
Uninstall the current fitbit app.
On the phone, open a web browser and search for A....P......K.....mirror (remove the dots)
Download and install. Your phone is going to complain about installing from an unknown source. Give the install permissions.
Open the app. Search for Fitbit. Look for Fitbit 2.95 released on June 17th. Download it.You need a file explorer for files on your phone. Might have to download one.
Browse to your internal storage. Go to your downloads folder on the phone.
Install the fit bit app. The file will start with the name: com.fitbit.FitbitMobile_2.95
Confiure for your texting app.
Try the text messages. Let me know if you have questions.
Thanks for your suggestion jreiter201. Since my Fitbit app updated at the beginning of this month my messages have not been showing on my Fitbit Charge 2 from my S10, only the sender. However I just did what you suggested and it is back working again. Thanks ever so much 🙂
Best AnswerThis is obviously a huge issue for a lot of people, and Fitbit appears to be ignoring the problem. Seriously, the S10 has been out for how long? And now Fitbit pushed an update that killed the ability of their devices to sync and to get notifications from one of the more popular phones out there?
What the hell is taking so long? What is wrong with Fitbit that they can't be bothered to fix this in any way? One of the big reasons to own a watch like the Versa is so that we can get our notifications without having to take our phone out of our pocket. If all we cared about what the time and about eventually synching our step count to our phones, we could have bought a far less expensive model than something like the Versa. Can we please have some attention to fixing something that some of us regard as an essential function for these devices?
Seriously! You think this is an acceptable way to have to get device to sync with phone! Give me a break!
My devices worked perfectly with my previous Zips and Ones. Then I got a new Zip, and it absolutely refuses to even pair with my phone or tablet. This was from one day to the next. FitBit is either selling faulty devices or faulty software.
Best AnswerMy bluetooth connects for my s10+ to beta lite for about a min and then disconnects whet in settings on on versa switched it to pair it connects again and doesn't I noticed an on option assuming that ment to keep bluetooth on for time I wanted but when trying to get to it only can go to off which turns bluetooth well, off.and when in on my bluetooth wont connect.. frustrated am I doing something wrong!? Is there a setting on my phone I need to change?
Best AnswerTime to trash fitbits all together and just get the galalxy watch. My versa has been sitting in the drawer since April cause its not compatible with my S10+. So i tossed it in a drawer, what sucks is i had just bought it for 250.00 and i cant even use it. Pathetic. Fitbit should reimburse everyone. Ill never buy another fit bit product again! Ive always had galaxy phones and never had any compatibility issues with anything. I had my fitbit for 2 weeks before i got my phone, **ahem** shame.
To those that have already followed all the official troubleshooting steps and the latest version 3.7 without results (on their Samsung phones), as a last resort you might wanna try uninstalling the current version of the app, rebooting your phone and then installing one of these older versions of the app. This could be a temporary solution (that is ...if ti works) until they release new versions of the app that would support all those Samsung phones (including S10) without the known issues. Some people on the forums and on Facebook have reported that "this workaround solved their issues". No guarantees this will work, though.
2.90 (probably not compatible with Versa 2 + Fitbit Premium)
2.95 (probably not compatible with Versa 2 + Fitbit Premium)
2.96 (probably not compatible with Versa 2 + Fitbit Premium)
3.3.1
You can find these versions (and you could try them one by one) by googling e.g. "fitbit 2.90 mirror".
I know this not the ideal solution for Fitbit (I might make some Fitbit representatives ...unhappy) or even the users, but it might actually prevent some people from trashing their trackers. At least that's something, no? 🙂
p.s. I'm just trying to help people, here... Nothing to gain.
Best AnswerGreetings!
When can we expect the Samsung S10 be compatible with the Fitbit Charge 3?
I miss not getting my text messages and emails on my Fitbit.
Is there a Fitbit that is compatible with the Samsung S10?
Thanks!
Sandy
