When will I be able to sync my zip with my new Samsung S10?  I've heard it's not compatible yet...

The Fitbit app is compatible with more than 200 Apple, Android, and Windows 10 phones and tablets. We're continually adding more devices and improving our compatibility, so if you don't see your device on the list check back soon.

You can also add your suggestions in our Feature Suggestions Board: New Feature SuggestionMembers of the Community can comment and vote for it, so it can be implemented in a future updates. The more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains.

You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.

In the meantime here you will find the list of compatible devices with Fitbit, you can also have the option to use laptops and computers.

Hi. I actually got my zip to work with the s10 and my wife's s10+. Here is how. Turn on bluetooth and open the Fitbit app. On the zip, open the battery door to turn it off and then close it again to allow zip to reboot. The zip will then be searchable and can ultimately sync.

The pain in the backside is that you have to reset the zip everytime you want to sync, do I keep the opener device handy and sync once a day.

Hopefully Fitbit can fix that soon as it doesnt appear to be a Samsung issue due to the device needing reboot to be searchable.

Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @Romicor, let me give you a warm welcome to our Community. Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for adding those steps, it might help other user having difficulties syncing with this device. In some cases, users have reported they are able to connect with non compatible devices; but as you mention after doing some troubleshooting steps. We advise users to always check the option to use a compatible device or computer, but in some cases there is no other option.

Thanks again. See you around.

After much frustration, I got my Samsung Galaxy S10 to sync with my fitbit charge 2 and my fitbit versa lite.

I went into the fitbit app on my phone and selected notifications.   I then saw that all notifications were turned off.  It used to work with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge so I am assuming when I reloaded the fitbit app on my S10, the notifications setting got reset to off.   I set them all to on.

I now get text messages, phone call alerts, calendar alerts .... everything I want.

Hope this helps someone else get past this frustrating issue.

Good Luck!

My Versa used to get text message notifications until Fitbit did an update on 6/27/19.  Now those are the only notifications I don't get anymore.  It's very frustrating.  I even uninstalled & reinstalled everything, still nothing.  When I contacted support I just got their typical reply about the phone not being compatible yet (how long has the S10 been on the market??  Should be compatible by now).

S10 works just fine.  I have mine working.  The update to Fitbit 3.0 on June 27th broke it.  See my post about the bug in 3.0.  I will send the directions to go back to 2.95 and it should work.  It does on mine.

Support is being less than honest about the issue.

Same thing happened to me with that update.

Thanks for info.

Okay....on your phone - go to Google Play and turn off automatic updates for apps.

Uninstall the current fitbit app.

On the phone, open a web browser and search for A....P......K.....mirror (remove the dots)

Download and install. Your phone is going to complain about installing from an unknown source. Give the install permissions.

Open the app. Search for Fitbit. Look for Fitbit 2.95 released on June 17th. Download it.

You need a file explorer for files on your phone. Might have to download one.

Browse to your internal storage. Go to your downloads folder on the phone.

Install the fit bit app. The file will start with the name: com.fitbit.FitbitMobile_2.95

Confiure for your texting app.

Try the text messages. Let me know if you have questions.

Good spiel but S10 doesn't appear to work with Blaze. Your own compatibility list doesn't include the S10. It syncs data but texts and calls don't work.

We are very glad to see you have joined our family here in the Fitbit Forums @RobinBar!

Thanks for sharing that you're trying to connect your Fitbit Blaze with your Samsung Galaxy 10. As you have mentioned before, this model is not in the list of tested devices. We're currently receiving feedback about different devices that are not in the list and our team is working hard to add more models to the list.

At the moment, we can't assure the Fitbit App will be working flawless even if it is able to connect. Our best recommendation is trying to sync or set up via computer, laptop, or any other compatible device.

You can also try these steps to make sure you receive your text and call notifications on your Blaze.

Let me know if you have more questions about it. Smiley Happy

Are they planning on updating? My phone is 2 yrs old and it's still not right. I'm trying to avoid buying a Samsung watch and use my Fitbit. This is frustrating

Fitbit tries to stay away from working with phones that are less than 3 or 4 years old.

Yours should be compatible in another 1 and a half to 2 years.
