Apparently my new phone is not compatible with my Alta HR for notifications. Does anyone know if/when there will be an update for this??

Welcome to the Forums @Evelyn4310.

Thanks for bringing this up.

As you mentioned, the S10+ is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps for the notifications.

As for when will the phone be added to the list, we do not have any details on the matter but as soon as we have any details we will be sharing them with everyone. In the meantime, maybe you could support this suggestion about adding the S10 and other versions of it to the list. You can comment on the idea or vote for it to show  your support. for it. If you do visit that board be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how it works.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I had the same issue with my blaze when I upgraded to Samsung s10.  I switched my messaging app to messages+ and after weeks of trying everything else...IT WORKED!

Is Fitbit phasing out the Alta HR and they don't want to update the
software. I just bought mine last summer but I don't see them for sale
anymore.

I'm sorry, but that's a load of crap!  For as popular as the Galaxy phones are, there is no excuse for them not being on the "list."  I wish I had known that since I never would have bought the Versa.  One of the worst purchases I've made.  Wish I could return it, but that window is closed.
