When will the Samsung a40 phone be compatible with Fitbit alta. I've had the alta several years, but upgraded my phone in july. Since then syncing with my alta is awful. It works with my laptop and occasionally works with my phone. We are now December, when is this getting sorted out. I will not upgrade my alta until I know fitbit have addressed this issue, please do not ask regarding troubleshooting, I've tried it all several times. I was going to upgrade but am seriously considering a garmin due to the incompatibility of fitbit and my phone. I do not upgrade my phone and think oh no I can't in case my fitbit wont work, I expect it too work! Six months and no resolution to this problem, sort it out!

Hi @Ltcatgirl. It's good to see you here.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention as well for the troubleshooting steps tried prior posting. I know how you're feeling about your Alta not able to sync and I'm sorry that you're having this experience. Our team continues working hard to add more devices to our compatible devices list based on the requirements and OS of each model so we can ensure a full functionality of the Fitbit app and its features. While there aren't further updates when your Samsung Galaxy A40 phone will be added, let me suggest to check this suggestion posted by another user and add your vote. The more votes an idea receives, the better chance it has of getting the attention of the developers. Also, please know that your feedback won't go unnoticed and will be passed along to our team.
