Samsung Galaxy S4 mini not sending text messages

Hi  I don't know whether anyone knows the answer but I cannot see text messages and calendar alerts on my fitbit charge 2.  I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini 4.4.2 which according to the list issued by fitbit should be compatible. I can receive call alerts and alarms but not texts.  I have tried everything I can think of and watched You Tube videos on how to fix the problem but nothing works.  Bluetooth is on, app shows everything on and fitbit is set to receive notifications.   Perhaps my phone is not compatible after all.

Thanks for trying to go through all of those steps to get the notifications to work before you posted in here.

 

I'd recommend that you try to follow all of the steps listed in this help article. While some of the steps you might have already tried, please go through all of the ones in the article in order. That should do the trick.
