Anyone else had this problem / know a solution? When I search for pairable devices on my Galaxy S7, my FitBit Charge is not found. I did a restart of both the phone and the Charge with no success. Any suggestions? 🙂 Thanks!!

Yes, the syncing working, but the phones Bluetooth won't see the device. I've been able to sync wince day one of my Galaxy s7, but the phone has never seen the Fitbit as a device. I can't use my Charge HR with my fitness apps because the phone doesn't recognize it. Frustrating.

Bummer! Thanks for the update. It's very disappointing that it is taking so long to make a new phone compatible with the Fitbit devices. At last it syncs, just need to get the Bluetooth to work...

I was hoping to use the MobileTrack on S7 with fitbit app but it isn't supported.......and it has been ~5 months now....

Hopefully it is still o nthe roadmap..

Same here. I thought the other apps were the problem, only to find out its Fitbits. Very sad.

I see this post is from March.  I just upgraded to this device from a MotoG.  Has this been fixed, or is the fitbit still not syncing with the Galaxy S7?

Best Answer

No change since last 6 months, fitbit does not support MobileTrack on S7 and many other fitbit devices.....difficult to understand why it would take so long or stay low on devlopment priority roadmap.

It will sync, but not Bluetooth pair. So is not seen by third party apps.

Do we know when this will happen?????  The S7 edge is the latest phone I'm confused why it's not compatible?

I too need official support for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with Fitbit Surge. I really hope we don't have to wait till Android 7.0 Nougat.

Hello everybody! It should be a matter of time, it's precisely because the Galaxy S7 edge is one of the latest cellphones that it hasn't been enabled as a compatible device. There are several other cellphones that are being added to the list before as well.

This post goes back to March. Is the S7 compatible with the Charge HR yet?

This is the issue I'm having too

Nope. Mine still doesn't work. Yet my phone will see my husbands Surge. Why can the Galaxy s7 pair with the Surge, which is newer than the Charge HR, but not the Charge HR? This makes no sense what-so-ever, and is poor product development.

I see that it goes way back to. They did do an update, but when people call
it comes up unknown. I just got a new one the Altra it's taking now but the
calles don't show... the charge did not work with my s7..come on FITBIT
wake up. Steps are what people buy it for.

8 months gone - no news of S7 compatibility with fitbit ....dissappointing that fitbit doesn't support the best phones out there even after 8 months of being in market....On a separate note, who is giving a harder time to get this compatibility development on the product roadmap - is it Samsung or Fitbit or both?

I have the samsung 7 edge & it works great with the flex, blaze & alta. Calls, texts & calendar alerts all come through fine.

On the blaze: make sure you use the touch screen (on blaze not phone) to scroll to settings & switch the Bluetooth to pair when setting it up.

Alta: manually pair the alta via switching you Bluetooth on on the phone - this helps it find it better than relying on the device.

Hope this helps.

This thread is primarily about the Charge HR. It will sync, but won't pair with the Bluetooth. Other devises work.
