Samsung S10e will not receive text notifications from Charge 3

I recently upgraded my S7 to a S10e and no longer receive text notifications but do receive call notifications.  As per the website the devices are compatible.  Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how was it solved?  I have tried downloading google messages but that did not work.

Yes we know, some S10 users have reported this and Fitbit is looking into a solution.
