Samsung S8 and Blaze are not syncing

After following multiple instructions now my phone won't find my blaze at all! Any other suggestions or tips that worked would be greatly appreciated. Almost feel like going back to my One...Almost no issues compared to this Blaze I now have.

Hello @SunsetRunner, good to see you are visiting the Fitbit Community!

I'm wondering what kind of issue you are experiencing when you refer your Samsung S8 is not able to find your Blaze. Are you having issues syncing your tracker or with the pair process? I saw on your Community profile you have a tracker paired already so I'm assuming you are having syncing issues.

What troubleshooting steps you have follow already? To review if you are missing a step I recommend to take a look at this post in case you are having syncing issues: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

If this is not working you can try to sync with your Computer also either by downloading the Windows 10 app or for other version of OS the Fitbit Connect software. For more details please review this video: Fitbit: How To Set Up A Tracker On A Computer.

Just keep in mind you don't need to create a new account, just to log in with your same email address and password. Once you have sync with your computer, try to sync with your phone again.

Keep me posted, I'll be around!

Hello,

I have tried all the troubleshooting issues on the link you sent. My
trouble is my phone will link to my Blaze and sync then suddenly will not
be able to find the Blaze or sometime it just will not sync. The last time
I used the trouble shooting steps I had to go to my Fire Tablet to finally
get my blaze linked back to my account, the phone searched for over an hour
and could never find it.

I was able to get the music to work today, but I am still not getting
notifications on the blaze, which I understand could be an issue with how
new the S8 is but it is still a bit frustrating.

One thing I did notice earlier is the notifications option on the Blaze
itself will suddenly be NO, even though I recall changing it to YES. This
had happened several times, but I have not noticed it since I connected the
Blaze through my Fire app rather than through the phone.

I have also noticed, since I switched phones, the battery on the Blaze
seems to be draining very fast even with the changes suggested to increase
battery life (no all day snyc, and not always connected), I did turn quick
view back on after a day but even with it off battery life was no better.
And just to say with my other phone I had all day, always connected and
quick view and was not having to charge the Blaze daily like I am having to
do now.

I realize some of these issues may be due to the new phone, but others seem
to not make sense why just changing phones would change the behavior of the
watch.

Thank you,
Liz
