@Odyssey13 Thanks for your input and help. True I would also like to know which device exactly.
@paulkn Welcome to the forums. I will gladly help you regarding the screen brightness of your Fitbit device. Which one do you have? Depending on the model, you can find the brightness settings under the quick actions or the settings app on your device. If the screen brightness suddenly diminished, it can be that the battery is low or that the "sleep" mode was activated. In the following article you find how to access all those settings in your device: How do I navigate my Fitbit device?.

Hi @paulkn you didn't mention which Fitbit. Some have adjustable brightness levels. Often changing the clock face helps. Sometimes it's just gotten old and the screen has faded. My Alta HR got dim over time and there wasn't anything I could do about it.

For some devices like the Sense product line, and I would think it's the same for Versa, the screen dims if you drop under 10% remaining battery. It doesn't go back to normal or bright mode automatically when recharged. You have to swipe down on the clockface and chose "Brightness" in the low right corner to reset.

@LokeAa Nice to see you in the forums again. Hope you are having a great day so far. Thank you very much for your advice. That is true, that is also another factor to consider. Screen birghtness will go to the lowest intensity when the battery is low. I appreciate you taking the time to share this with the community. This will certainly help other users.

Thx. I decided to "deactivate myself" during the whole loss of challenges discussion which stirred up a lot of emotions.
