I am having problem adding fitbit inspire hr to my android phone oppo r15 pro
my phone official model is
CPH1831
android version 8.1.0
QUALCOMM SDM660 Octa Core
6gb Ram
I just could not add the fitbit. the phone stated that it "found it" (the fitbit), then the 4 digits code showed up, then the sync stated null and the x symbol with a circle around it showed up. Then, I am back to the menu screen again without any devices added.
There is millions of android user in Thailand, and we love to use health and exercise band. Please help me solve this problem. thank.

Welcome to the Forums @khumsup.
Thanks for sharing your feedback and explaining the steps that you have tried to pair your Fitbit.
In this case, this seems to be happening because the Oppo R15 Pro is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.
If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Welcome to the Forums @HHK1010.
Thanks for sharing all of those details on the matter.
As mentioned above, this seems to be happening because the phone is not supported and included on the list I shared. Be sure to try the steps I mentioned above.
If you have the time, perhaps you could post about it in our Feature Suggestions board. That way other users can comment and vote on the idea to show their support. If you do post in there, be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.
Let me know if there are any other questions on the matter.

It's a shame, looks like I'll be returning my Fitbit and getting a Garmin or something, you would think when releasing your fitbits, considering you never use to have to connect to an app to make it work, you would make sure it was combatible with every major phone brand out there before selling. Anyway, I have an oppo R15 all firmware is up to date, attempted all listed was to setup and still nothing, wasted a good couple hours of my day. Cheers

I am having the same problem. But I was informed by Fitbit that it was a compatible phone prior to purchasing it.
Mine was working fine for the first few weeks.. and the last couple I have had the same issues

I don't know why you don't make fitbit compatible to all major brand of androids user. Don't fitbit CEO realize that 85% of the smart phones user use android? Garmin and other companies have make their products compatible to android users. It is too bad that customers are force to choose them instead of fitbit.
If fitbit is thinking about expanding oversea, they should spend more time develop a product that would work for all android users. How much revenue did fitbit lost from this???
