Hi.
My main cardio just now is being on my spin bike for an hour in my house.
Im not sure if i have to log this in the app or not.
When i do log it i go to add exercise on the app, go to spinning and put in the times. The app appears to set the calories burned per min at a flat rate of 7 regardless of intensity. This seems off. As yesterday i was spinning far more intensely and with greater speed/resistance variation than today.
When i don't log the exercise the app seems to calculate my calories burned at a rate relative to my heart rate which varies with intensity and gives deferent readings for the two days.
To me it looks like im getting a more accurate measurement from not logging the exercise and just allowing the app to do its thing.
Is there a way to log the exercise without the app applying a flat rate? or do i just not bother logging it?

Calorie burn is more accurate if you let it be based on heart rate. But if you want that accuracy and also credit for a workout, the thing to do is to use the Exercise App on your wrist, telling it what you are doing, when you are about to start, and when you stop. That way you get credited with a workout, and it credits calorie burn based on your heart rate, and also will show a workout summary including heart rate graph of workout time.
