Recently, I have been unable to receive Signal texts (my default texting app) on my Fitbit Versa. The Fitbit App Notifications section on my phone shows the Signal app is grayed-out. It is the only app on that notifications list that is inaccessible. I have searched my Signal and Fitibit app settings, but I can't figure-out what might have changed recently. Until now, I have been receiving Signal texts on my Versa without issue. WhatsApp and other notifications are working fine. Does anyone know how to fix this? I will check with the Signal community too. Thank you!
Phone: Pixel 2
Android Version: 10
Versa Firmware: 32.70.714

If you have selected Signal Text as your main messaging app, then yes it will be greyed out under the Apps entry. Could this be the case?

Thank you Rich_Laue. You are exactly right. I temporarily switched my default text app to Messenger and found Signal was no longer grayed-out in the App Notifications list. So that question is answered. However, I still do not receive Signal text notifications on my Versa (after switching back to Signal as my default text app).

This just happend to me and I have yet to figure out why I am no longer getting text messages on my Versa. I have deleted an re-installed the Fitbit app on my phone also recycled power on both the phone and Fitbit. This driving me crazy!

I recently purchased a Versa 2 and cannot receive test messages either. I think I've read everything that's been printed on the subject and nothing works. My Versa screen will say "new message", but when I click "open" the text message opens up on my phone. Even my incoming calls doesn't have my contacts name, just "incoming call". I'm frustrated.
