I suppose there was an update. The app presents sleep data differently. Have others noticed this?
I miss seeing how long episodes of awake, light, REM and deep sleep are

I've never had a Premium account. Just a waste of money for very little extra usefulness in my opinion. But I was always able to view all my stats including sleep with no issues in the old app. The new app does not get sleep times right or the amount of sleep right. It is horribly inaccurate. The app also often doesn't show my heart rate, even though it is showing on the watch. Those are the two most important things to me, so for me this new app renders my watch useless.

Not knowing how to use it isn't the issue. The issue is that it is inaccurate.

Would be nice to not see the message below as very often the true original meaning is changed by the "clarity edit" as was the case with my posts...

Thank you, that's very kind. Unfortunately, my app doesn't do that. When I touch the graph, a vertical line appears which I can move from left to right, but it doesn't show the breakdown of sleep time, and I don't get the sleep score, either. I have an older version of Inspire, so I'm starting to think that maybe that detail is only available for the latest version?

Spent one day with the new watch, it is very ugly, but it works 🙂
In a nutshell, I would not get the Ultra model because of the looks, I would get the regular 44mm.
The new sensor is very good, 13 LED instead of the 4, HR is very accurate, sleep tracking is great, with sleep apnea, HRV, snoring, avg HR, breathing rate, etc. Data available *without* a subscription.
The app is OK, slightly improved from previous. It is easy to read, with good colors, but graphs are *static* so no precise time/etc. is obtainable.
Huge improvement over fitbit sense is the "Your body's Battery" state of charge with good data and explanations.
AGE ( Advanced glycation end-product) is another great aaddition to the data available.
So in a nutshell, while not prefect, GW7 is significantly better, and I am keeping mine

In all the negative comments about the detriment of the sleep “Upgrade”? Haven’t seen a single justification reason from anyone at Fitbit. WHY?

I've read two articles now with over 2000 comments about how awful the April update was, nothing from Google, it's time to go find different hardware

To show how inaccurate the sleep tracking is, my Fitbit says this this morning. Fact is I was wide awake and sitting on the couch watching TV during that time, not sleeping at all.

Now that I have had a couple of weeks with my "fitbit replacement" gw7, I am ready to move on from fitbit.
The new watch has more accurate sleep tracking, better heart rate tracking, lots more functionality, and all of it without a subscription.
I did not know I would use sleep apnea, snoring, AGE (Advanced glycation endproducts), my "body battery state", etc. features of the GW7, but I do, and I find them useful.
Battery life is good on the Ultra model, but the watch is ugly, so i would go for the smaller, cheaper, and the better looking 44mm version
not perfect, but vastly better than fitbit sense, i highly recommend it.
