Sleep function in the Dashboard can't do basic math.

When I enter my start sleep time of 11:59 PM and my wake time the following morning at 10:00 AM I get an error message that the time isn't between 10 to 1440 minutes? 1440 minutes by the way, is 24 hours.  The times I selected are definitely within the 10 minute to 24 hour range.  Why isn't the Dashboard accepting my settings?  As a matter of fact, it pretty much rejects any times I try to enter in there.  I typically go to bed around 2:00 AM (I'm retired) and get up around 10:00 AM, but it won't allow me to enter that either.  Someone needs to work on that for sure.

Are you sure you are not  putting in 11:59 PM of the day you got up instead of the day before?

I'm quite sure.  Actually, I'm retired and go to bed most mornings around 3 - 4 AM and get up around 10 AM.  It won't accept that because it says I can't pick a time in the future when I try.  Actually, it let me pick that one time, then wouldn't let me repeat it.  I don't know why you can't just enter a regular schedule and save it.  No matter what I put in there, when I go back and check it, my sleep time reverts back to 11:00 PM and wake time to 07:00 AM.  The whole world doesn't sleep between 11 and 7.  If I pick today's date, 04:00 AM has already passed.  Also, the error message "End time cannot be set in the future" shows up under the "SLEEP START".  I also get the same error message when I try to set the wake time to 11:00 AM on the 14th. (Today is the 13th).  I can't go back in time to go to bed today at 04:00 AM.  That will be tomorrow.Fitbit sleep schedule.jpg

In the example you posted, the start date is the 14th and the end date the 13th.

But also I guess I'm not really clear on what you are trying to do.  Are you trying to log a previous night's sleep for when you were not wearing the tracker?

No.  Today is the 13th, but I won't be going to sleep tonight.  I'll be going to sleep around 2 - 4 AM which is actually tomorrow, the 14th. (After 12 midnight is a new day).

I still don't understand what you are trying to do.  It sounds like you are trying to log sleep before it happens.  Is that right?

Do you wear your tracker at night?  Why don't you just let it track your sleep itself?
