My charge 3 sleep tracker hasn't worked since I purchased it.  It says sleep not tracked?

Welcome to the Forums @Sdarwin.

Let me help you figure out what is going on.

There are several possibilities of what could be happening:

  • You were moving more than usual while you were sleeping. Be it because you were uncomfortable, too hot, cold, or something was not letting you sleep (a bug, perhaps).
  • There was a fan or open window that caused a draft of air to hit the Fitbit and it thought you were awake.
  • It is not getting a good read of your HR or your HR remains relatively high while you sleep and thus it cannot identify if you are sleeping or not. The high HR could be because of stress, overeating right before going to sleep, or a medical condition.

Those would be the reasons why this could be happening. My general suggestion would be to try to move the Fitbit up your arm until it is tightly around your arm so that it can get a better reading on your HR.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
