Sleep percentages aren't readable

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The Android app just updated and now the sleep scores (e.g minutes awake, REM etc) are displayed in a hollow, double-walled font that is not readable on my phone - it just looks like a grey blur.

Is there a way to change it to a readable font, or to revert to a usable version of the app?

A recent update of the Android App has my Sleep Score Percentages showing in a font that is very difficult to read.
Does anyone else have this problem?
My percentages are provided, but I am unable to read them now because the font change makes them illegible on my pnone.  The font is an "outline" font that just fades into the background, so I believe the font should stand out so it can be easily read.

Me too, for the last couple of days, it's like the "printer" is running outta ink!

Hi @Badgranma. Thanks for visiting the Feature Suggestions board. Currently we haven't change the font of the sleep score, and to understand your idea better could you please take a screenshot of what is displayed on the Fitbit app? To attach your picture, check the instructions posted here. I'll look forward to your reply.

Thanks for the response.  Regretfully, I don't have a BEFORE screenshot, which would show the font that was previously displayed.

However, I took screenshots of the font now showing on my mobile phone.

While this MAY look ok when viewed on a 23inch desktop, it's fading into the background on a mobile phone app, which I use all the time.

Any suggestion would be appreciated, thankyou.

Thanks to both of you for reporting the behavior with the Fitbit app with me. This issue has been escalated to our team so they can further investigate and bring a solution as soon as possible. Meanwhile, let me suggest to keep the Fitbit app updated, this way your information will continue syncing.

Please change the font back to something that can be read clearly. The new fancy font in sleep tracker that states the minutes of each stage is too light in colour and very very difficult to read. Don't use an outline unless you're filling it in a contrast darker colour.

Thank you!

If it helps any, my display issue was on Android 9, on the phone that runs Android 7.1, even with a recent update in the last few days, that display is fine....like it always has been.

Just to chime in, I'm suffering from the same problem too. It happened after an update to the app several weeks ago (I'm running Android 10). It would be great to have the figures revert to a readable font soon! Surely that can't be very hard for the developers to change? Looking forward to having this problem fixed!

This is exactly how it looks on my phone. I can't make out the numbers for anything. PLEASE take it back to the solid font it used to be rather than outline.

Hopefully, the problem is fixed for good .. thanks again for your assistance.

It seems this issue has finally been fixed in the latest update to the app. I'm surprised it took 4 months to resolve, but better late than never!
