Sleep stages are not syncing

Hi, I got my fitbit last Friday, it only tracked sleep stages for the 1St two nights. Now says need more than 3 hours data, but showing I slept 6.5hours solid last night. Today it last synced at 9:59 this morning. Won't sync now, I'm really disappointed and regretting spending the money now.

It's a charge 2 and phone is Sony z3.

All requirements met, Bluetooth on, and pairs with other devices, I've un and then re installed the app, phone and app up to date. Any ideas? Xxx

Hello @Fruitloop86, welcome to the Fitbit Community! I'm wondering if only your sleep stages are presenting issues at the moment to sync or is in general with your other stats?

There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your tracker from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your tracker higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your tracker to bed).
  • If your tracker’s battery is critically low.

If you are having issues at the moment to sync your tracker perhaps the following post might be of your help: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

Hope this helps, see you around!
