Step Widget not available since upgrading to v3.2

I updated to the Android v3.2 and have been unable to install the Step Widget.  This was available on the previous version.  I've already looked under the Widget list and FitBit is not an option.

Fyi. I still have it with my Fitbit app v3.2.

It is called Fitbit Primary Goal Widget, if it helps.

@JBodden could you check your device list and check if your tracker is still connected to your account

@asiayeah while most people have their main goal set for steps some do not and main goal simply adds whichever goal is set for the main goal.

I am having a similar issue I believe.

S7 Edge

Android 8.0.0

I am able to find the Fitbit Primary Goal widget; but I'm unable to place it on my home screen.

The Fitbit Quick Access widget I can drag and drop; then select the quick launch option; so no issue with that widget; but the FPG Widget when dropped onto the screen it appears 'blank', but take up the grid area.  Upon clicking the area nothing happens, but if you press and hold you can remove it. Kicker, if left, Fitbit crashes after a bit.

Tried the standard things. Uninstall. Log out of Fitbit, clear cache/data shut down phone, etc. etc. Reset notification across the board, etc.  I consider myself fairly tech savvy, but this is really putting me through the ringer.

Blaze tracker is syncing, no issue that I can see there with the App itself; just the Primary Goal Widget is acting funky.

I am having the exact same issue. Updated the app and can no longer use the widget. You can place the widget but it is invisible on the home screen and seems to really slow the phone down and cause the Fitbit app to crash. I'm running Android Version 8.0 and Fitbit 3.3.1 on an S7 Edge, I've tried removing the widget, logging out and restarting the phone and reinstalling the Fitbit app - no luck!

Exactly the situatution I am having.

At times I can cause it to appear, usually a restart, but it will not update the widget, unless manually updating by clicking on Fitbit. No reason to have the widget if one is forced to enter the application. 😞

A week ago I added Fitbit widgets and tried to reproduce with Android 9 and the latest Fitbit app (3.3.1) and fail to have any issues. Screenshot_20190827-145447_One UI Home.jpg

Well, 12 hours, widget has not updated. 700~ steps, just woke up, and sitti f at desk for 1 hour, no update. Was able to place widget, just it isnt updating unless I go into the application still.

Is there some sort of security that is not allowing the syncing? Is it specifically limited to S7 Edge? Wife has just the S7 and she has no issues. I'm at a loss, the other widgets work, just not the step widget. *boggle*
