Steps aren't showing in challenges

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My dashboard shows over 25k steps. My challenge is showing just over 5k steps. My water chart shows it is May 9th. It is currently May 14th. HELP, this is not a good way to start a challenge week!

Thank you

Hello @Buchieb, awesome to have you as a new member of the Fitbit Community! My apologies for the late response and I'm wondering how it goes is the issue still persisting with your water chart and your steps not syncing to your challenge?

There are some factors that may caused these discrepancies:

1. Your steps have fully synced to our database but you're not viewing the mobile app dashboard in Live Data Mode. (This mode is when your tracker is connected in real time)
2. You manually logged an activity. Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
3. You used MobileRun to track GPS data with your app. Only steps recorded by a tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
4. All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.

For more details, please review our help article: What should I know about challenges?

Regarding the water chart, try to scroll sideways, as this will change the range of dates are being displayed. Otherwise if the issue persists, I would like to see if is possible for you to share some screenshots to have a closer look. If you need help uploading screenshot this post will served as a reference.

See you around and hope this helps.
