I'm using my android phone for tracking steps and have been using the fitbit app for the past few days. Today my step count isnt updating after connecting to the internet despite manually refreshing the page to force sync. Network wasnt switched on for most of the day and yes i did connect to a good network so internet conenction wasnt bad when trying to sync. I've tried reinstalling and force stopping the app but no luck, step count isnt updating.

Hi @Arpss - if you are using the new V4 Fitbit App syncing can be an issue, if it's not syncing properly for Steps then it's not syncing well.
Try restarting both the watch and phone it may work temporarily, also make sure you don't have your phone connected as a device in the Fitbit App.
Of course having multiple phones or watches won't help, so make sure only one phone and your watch are active when trying to get it working.

I have exactly the same issue. If I do nothing it fixes itself in a day or two. I've uninstalled, rebooted the phone, reset the permissions. Nothing works. In case it was a hardware issue I installed Google Fit and it worked fine. It's definitely the fitbit app on Android.

Ok - I fixed it. The key was realizing that in the upper left hand portion of the app, there is a button to allow fitbit to connect to devices. Hitting that allowed me to connect the app to the phone I am one and enable the appropriate permissions.
