I have just started re-using my flex 2.but upon loading the app back on to my phone the step counter has disappeared from the dashboard. Can you help? Am now using android phone.

Assuming you are using the same id and password as before then it's possible that the connection between the fitbit and your account has been lost.
Try adding the Flex 2 to your account again as though it were a new device. Go into the account section of the app and select "set up a device".
