Still getting no text messages on my Versa

I just upgraded my fitbit from the Blaze to the Versa.  I set it up properly and I am still not getting text messages from my note 8. I read all the fixes that were posted and did them all and still no text messages

 Thanks for letting us know that you have tried the steps that are recommended for these situations.

This might be happening because the Galaxy Note 8 is not currently a on the supported devices list. This means that the app is not fully optimized to work with that phone and thus we cannot guarantee its functionality.

There is a possibility that it can work as  long as the phone fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, but it is also very possible that it won't. Some users of phones that aren't on the list have mentioned that following these steps works for them, so maybe you could give it a shot.
