Stop Marking Topics As Answered!

It looks like Moderators are marking items as answered when they're clearly not. Could you please stop doing that? All it does is force users to enter duplicate topics and search the forums for multiple threads!

Best Answers are a way for you to acknowledge a great response to a question that you've posted. When you choose a best answer, both the question and the answer get special icons and links that take you directly from the question to the answer.

A Best Answer icon also appears on boards and in search results so you can see which messages have solutions.

You can only mark a best answer for questions that you originally posted.

Note: Community moderators can also mark one of the replies to a message as a best answer

@Gomcse  sometimes a member will come back and select a best answer that has nothing to do with the solution. Many times a person marks it by accident and sometimes they mark it prematurely. I see the thread you're referring to and I unmarked it as the best answer. Thanks for letting us know.
