Swimming speed

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I have a problem with the swimming speed. I swim 2000m in 1hour without a break. The android app says 1'40"/100m. When i login using Chrome it says 3'00"/100m. The last one is correct. Can someone tell me how I can the Android app work correctly? I first thought it is a setting that i missed, but the fact that the chrome login gives a different (correct) calculation makes me wonder if the app is buggy?

Hello, @Another_user! Welcome to the Forums! Man Tongue Please try to forcequit the App, log out and back in. You can also try to reboot your phone.

Also, when you say do it from Chrome, are you doing this using your phone or a computer? Please provide me more details of this. And finally please attach some screenshots of both logs at the same time for the same exercise using Chrome and the App.

I'll be around. Man Wink

I use chrome and internet exporer from a windows 10 notebook.

Log off and log in again did not work with my Phone, in the tracked exercises it stil shows the wrong pace.

And when i fill in a new swim exercise it stil goes wrong, I do however notice when i type 2000 m it goes wrong with the last zero. This is easy to see because the android app let you see the calculation result change with every digit you type. At 200 it shows 30'00''/100m, and 2000 gives 1"40"/100m

instead of 3'00"/100m.

The android app somehow can't grasp the idea of continous swimming.

I checked it by using different distances, with the forth digit it always goes wrong.

Glad to see you here @Another_user! Thank you very much for sharing those screen shots. It is interesting that the app is not showing the exact same information.

Let's try to uninstall the app from your Android device and then installing it again. It is possible that some component was not properly installed and thus it is not calculating the pace correctly with the information it got from our servers.

Please keep me posted on how the reinstall goes!

I did uninstall the app twice. Once by using the uninstall button in the android playstore. And once by manually removing the app. But when I download and reinstall the app there is no improvement. The calculation goes wrong when I add the fourth digit (from 200 to 2000). See previous post.

Hi:

Hi; I have the exact same problem. I emailed the help desk and they said they'd work on it. I told them I couldn't swim 1:40/100 yds without a motor!!
