Switching to a new fitbit on my email

I bought an alta hr and i want to cancel my original alta on my account so i can set up my new hr. It just keeps saying that i have a fitbit attached to my email already!!

It sounds like you are trying to create a new fitbit account. There's no need to do this. Just sign on using your original id and password that you used with your Alta. Then go into the account section of the app and select "set up a device". Then just select Alta HR and follow the prompts.

 

This way you'll keep all your data, settings, badges etc that you had with the Alta
