Never had issues for 2 with charge 2 and 1 year with Charge 3 now with I assume recent software update I am having sync issues. Is there an ETA on when you will fix this. Had my wife buy a charge 4 over a month ago with same issues using apple phone. Before you say remove device and set it up again, reinstall app this has been done with same result. Works for a few hours and then will not sync. Please let the community know, close to calling it quits on Fitbit and reviewing alternatives.

I have been having issues today as well. Fitbit Charge 2 stopped syncing to my Fitbit app (Samsung S8 phone).
I tried everything in the troubleshooting guide, and nothing works. I turned bluetooth off and on, restarted the phone, tried to restart the tracker itself (but could not---regardless of how long I push the button for, it refuses to turn itself off). Finally in my desperation I unpaired the device from the app.
Now I can't even add it any more. When I go through the steps to add a new device, my phone is unable to find the Charge 2 device at all. It just keeps saying Try again. I've tried dozens of times.
This kind of garbage is why fitbit will never be as good as an Apple Watch...
