@Selajana Do you have your location services turned on as I posted about in this post? Having your location services turned on is now a requirement to sync as of Android 6.0. Keep me posted.
Best AnswerAfter months of frustration and doing all of the recommended steps (Uninstall, reboot, calling support with no solution given, etc.), I finally found a solution to sync my phone app to my Note 4 after upgrading to Android 5.0 and 6.0.1.

@Sleonhart12, have you verified that you have Location Services enabled on your phone? Also turn on Enable Notification Widget.

I had V6.0.1 which never failed and now I'm on V7 and again no issues. This is on a Sony Xperia XP and NOT on Fitbit's compatibilty list and a 4G network
I have set ON, Location and Always Connected, and OFF, All day Sync.
On my earlier versions of Android if I had WiFi enabled I could not sync. But that was a known issue with V4 Android with Fitbit on the Sony Xperia Z1
